THE ROLE
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work closely with our physicians in the day-to-day care of patients and in the execution of clinical follow-up.
The Nurse Practitioner helps extend physician capacity by supporting visits, managing follow-up care, handling first-pass clinical questions, and ensuring care plans move forward reliably. The role sits at the intersection of clinical care, care coordination, and clinic operations.
The ideal candidate has strong clinical judgement, is detail-oriented, and collaborative. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working closely with physicians and takes pride in ensuring patient care is thoughtful, organized, and complete.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Care. You will work alongside physicians to support the delivery of comprehensive care by:
- Seeing select patients independently for urgent concerns and appropriate follow-up visits
- Supporting physician visits and assisting with examinations and in-office procedures
- Conducting focused patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluation
- Reviewing laboratory and diagnostic results and preparing concise clinical summaries
- Managing prescription refill requests and routine medication follow-up
- Ordering labs, imaging, and referrals in coordination with physicians
- Ensuring clinical documentation, orders, and patient records are accurate and up to date
Clinical Coordination. You will help ensure that all elements of a patient’s care plan are executed smoothly and reliably by:
- Coordinating referrals to specialists and outside services
- Ensuring diagnostic tests and imaging are scheduled, obtained, and reviewed
- Communicating care plans and follow-up instructions clearly to patients
- Tracking outstanding clinical items to ensure recommended care is completed
- Coordinating with physicians, medical assistants, and outside providers to ensure care continuity
Clinical Inbox & Patient Communication. You will serve as the first clinical reviewer for incoming patient communications by:
- Reviewing incoming patient questions and messages
- Responding to routine clinical questions when appropriate
- Triaging urgent medical concerns and coordinating same-day care when needed
- Escalating complex clinical issues to physicians
- Communicating results, care plans, and next steps clearly to patients
Clinical Operations. You will help ensure the clinic runs smoothly and reliably by:
- Coordinating with Medical Assistants to ensure clinical tasks and follow-ups are completed
- Helping prioritize daily clinical workflows and patient needs
- Supporting clinic operations such as visit preparation, clinical forms, and supply management
- Identifying and addressing workflow issues that affect patient care or clinic efficiency
Patient Experience. Our clinic operates at a five-star hospitality standard, and every patient interaction matters. You will support this by:
- Building trusted relationships with patients over time
- Communicating with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
- Following up with patients by phone, text, or email when appropriate
- Helping maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming care environment
Clinical Procedures. Depending on experience, you may perform select clinical procedure, such as:
- Phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Peripheral IV placement
- GYN procedures, such as endometrial biopsy, IUD insertion and removal
- Assisting with or performing select office-based procedures within scope of practice
REQUIREMENTS
- Unrestricted / Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
- 4–7 years of clinical experience as a NP or PA
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is beneficial: Women’s health, primary care, family medicine, concierge or executive health settings
- Strong clinical judgement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with high level of accuracy
- Comfort using digital communication tools for patient care coordination
- Availability for patient communication and triage after hours
- Can commute to the Westside of LA.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and qualification.
Salary range: $130,000 - $190,000
