This position supports the Dining Services Director with supervising shifts, participating in interviews, training new staff, reconciliations, some record keeping and inventory.

The Lead Food Server is responsible for ensuring that all guests to our full service restaurant are treated to a world class dining experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Possess basic knowledge and ability to perform food server functions in a health care setting
- Ability to ensure and oversee that dining room is ready for service at evening meal
- Ability to use good interpersonal skills when interacting with Residents, family members, visitors and co-workers
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English, required
- Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
- First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- Washington State Alcohol Permit or able to obtain within 30 days of hire (if applicable)
