Position: Pharmacist
Location: Somerset, NJ 08873
Duration: 3 Month contract to start, potential for extension or conversion to FTE
Rate: $64/Hr
Start Date: ASAP
Description:
The position is for LTC staff pharmacist, working on site at Somerset location.
The schedule will be nights and weekends of 3:30pm to midnight EOW 12:30PM to 9PM.
The potential for rotating shifts is available of days/night EOW. The day shift would be 9am to 5:30pm and night shift would be 3:30pm to midnight. Weekend shift would be 12:30pm to 9pm EOW. The position would be to handle the anticipated incoming volume being transferred from a different site. The positions would assist to alleviate further potential OT with the current team in regards to the changing business priorities. The candidate will be joining a positive and dedicated team of pharmacists who strive to provide patient care at the highest level.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily workflow related to prescription order processing including review of orders for appropriateness and accuracy; review orders processed by technicians; collaborate with other healthcare providers to clarify orders; utilize DUR for patient prescription management; good understanding of NJ BOP regulations for prescription management and dispensing guidelines, including controlled medications.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state of NJ, with a minimum of BS of Pharmacy, from an accredited school of pharmacy.
LTC or retail experience is preferred, minimum of 1 year. Dress code is business casual, scrubs are appropriate. All interviews will be on-site in person only.
