Pharmacist

Job Title: Long-Term Care (LTC) Staff Pharmacist

SCHEDULE:

• Nights and weekends: 3:30 pm to midnight every other weekend (EOW) 12:30 pm to 9 pm
• Potential for rotating shifts:
• Day shift: 9 am to 5:30 pm
• Night shift: 3:30 pm to midnight
• Weekend shift: 12:30 pm to 9 pm (EOW)

JOB SUMMARY:

We're seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in Somerset, NJ. This role will help manage the anticipated increase in volume from a different site. You'll be part of a dedicated team of pharmacists who prioritize patient care and strive for excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with daily workflow related to prescription order processing
• Review orders for appropriateness and accuracy
• Review orders processed by technicians
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify orders
• Utilize DUR for patient prescription management
• Ensure compliance with NJ BOP regulations for prescription management and dispensing guidelines, including controlled medications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum BS in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy
• LTC or retail experience preferred (minimum 1 year)

DRESS CODE:

• Business casual, scrubs are acceptable
