Parts Coordinator/Proposal Specialist

Equity Staffing Group is seeking an Aftermarket Parts Sales / Proposal Specialist to support aftermarket sales and generate bookings through the sale of spare parts. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills who can manage customer requests from quotation through order execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for quotations for proprietary and non-proprietary spare parts.
• Provide initial diagnosis and recommendations based on customer needs.
• Prepare proposals, pricing, and quotations.
• Manage the full order process, including order entry, purchasing, scheduling, and invoicing.
• Support Business Development Managers and Representatives with quotations and order execution.
• Serve as a communication link between customers, sales representatives, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist with the promotion and marketing of aftermarket parts, including database development and follow-up.
• Develop and maintain price lists, manuals, and promotional materials.
• Manage a high volume of requests and multiple priorities while maintaining responsive customer service.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of cooling tower performance, operations, and applications.
• General mechanical aptitude and ability to assess customer issues and recommend solutions.
• Strong customer-service mindset with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
• Excellent communication, active listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access; experience with JobScope preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in proposal management, project management, product engineering, aftermarket sales, or a related technical environment.
