Equity Staffing Group is currently staffing a Medical Assistant for on-site work in Torrence, CA. This is contract work with a Fortune 100 organization. Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Torrance, CA 90501
Duration: 6 Month contract to start, potential for extension or conversion to FTE
Rate: $22.00/Hr
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients for doctor
- Conducting and entering vitals in EHR software
- Submitting patient referrals through the system
- Completing ancillary services such as labs
- And responding to messages in the EHR software
- Calling patients to schedule appointments.
- Prefer at least 6 months working as a medical assistant.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Certification required: Medical Assistant
Dress code/scrub color: Blue
