What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc.?
What you’ll do:
The Marketing Specialist develops strategic partnerships with internal marketing and operations partners to enable the company to create mutually beneficial integrated marketing campaigns to support the RV portfolio.
Your job will include:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to increase exposure for assigned RV resorts and campgrounds.
- Leverage a variety of marketing channels to engage new customers.
- Manage existing third-party relationships and develop strategic alliances in the designated market.
- Coordinate the development and distribution of marketing materials (e.g., flyers, advertisements, brochures, emails, etc.)
- Work with local teams on property-specific initiatives and promotions.
- Independently recommend strategies for supporting business sales
- Increase revenue and occupancy from target market customers.
- Measure and analyze the success of specific marketing partnerships.
- Increase the company’s brand awareness and local business.
- Act as the primary liaison between the company and its business partners.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management with respect to the planning, implementation and ongoing management of all partnerships.
- Maintain the property marketing budget and cost expenditures.
- Travel as required to develop partnerships and ensure that marketing initiatives support overall business goals.
- Support various marketing and business development initiatives in other regions as needed.
Experience & skills you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 year of marketing or business experience.
- Strong presentation skills and a high degree of comfort with public speaking.
- Ability to establish, manage and expand third-party relationships.
- Strong understanding of online marketing techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to manage budgets and analyze promotional costs.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Present information and respond to questions from a variety of sources.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
