Accounting Assistant - AP/AR

As Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), treasury functions, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our finance and accounting operations.

Role Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Assist in the reconciliation of accounting and construction systems, supporting senior accounting staff
• Scan and process invoices into PayScan
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports
• Handle vendor payment inquiries and resolve discrepancies
• Process incoming mail related to accounting matters

Accounts Receivable (AR):

• Perform data entry for accounts receivable in Yardi

Treasury Functions:

• Reconcile bank statements
• Completing special projects as needed

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
• Minimum of one year of accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency with Excel required
• Familiarity with YARDI and/or Procore preferred
