Job Description
The Treasury Management Analyst Manager leads a team of Analysts and is responsible for delivering exceptional consultative sales support and relationship management to small business and commercial clients. This role ensures the team consistently meets internal service standards while providing treasury product expertise, including marketing support, product demonstrations, and technical and financial analysis for clients, prospects, and internal partners. The Manager also oversees the creation of formal proposals and RFP responses by following established processes and timelines to produce comprehensive, high-quality submissions that help secure new business. Working closely with Treasury Management Officers, the Analyst Manager enhances the sales process and client onboarding experience by fostering strong relationships and ensuring a seamless, client-focused experience across the organization.
Treasury Management
- Oversee daily production of TM Analyst Team Members
- Ensure SLA’s are met daily and documentation is accurate
- Resolve internal and external client issues and provide technical support for clients
- Act as liaison between TMO’s, TMA’s and Treasury Services team members by providing timely communication regarding product, service and SLA changes/opportunities/challenges
- Drive new sales opportunities by identifying client and prospect treasury management needs
- Build and develop customized treasury management solutions for small business and commercial clients to meet specific needs
- Manage day-to-day ACH, Wire and Remote Deposit limit needs/risk assessment for clients in accordance with policies and procedures
- Create, support and oversee relationship review analysis for clients and Treasury Management Officers
Product Knowledge/Training
- Stay abreast of key competitor product/service offerings in target markets, including products, features, pricing and competitive advantages/disadvantages
- Provide ongoing product training to bank clients and bank personnel bank wide, including technical support, as needed
- Develop full and detailed knowledge of all lines of business. Become a champion for creating opportunities to refer clients to Wealth Management, Private Banking, Mortgage, Consumer and Commercial Lending, Retail accounts, as well as attract deposits
Product Development/Implementation
- Collaborate with Treasury Services and Deposit Operations regarding product features/benefits and enhancements as necessary to remain competitive in targeted customer and geographic markets
- Periodically evaluate product pricing and bundling strategies and make recommendations to Deposit Operations Manager and Treasury Management Director
Marketing/Sales
- Develop and implement “share of wallet” and “onboarding” strategies for new and existing small business and commercial clients
- Proactively call on existing and new clients to introduce new product initiatives and schedule annual relationship reviews
- Actively participate in sales meeting and calling/marketing initiatives
- Develop calling/marketing program for “deposit only” clients and partner with other lines of business to execute
Reporting/Metrics
- Enter all Activities, Appointments, Incidents, etc. into Connect (CRM) for every TM client and bank interaction
- Train and support Analyst team and retail partners on Treasury Management expectations for Connect
Required Skills & Education
Requirements
- 5 or more years of Treasury Management experience
- Extensive knowledge of banking industry
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in business, finance or related field
- Previous Management experience preferred
- Interpersonal skills commensurate with conducting external customer presentations
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and retention skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance – takes initiative/self-starter
- Time management skills and ability to effectively manage internal/external requests, concerns and problems in a professional and timely manner. Ability to overcome objections
- Proactive follow through on issues for resolution
- Ability to relate and empathize with others
- Proficiency in using Microsoft products (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Sales or marketing experience
- Travel up to or exceeding 50% may be required
- Must be bondable
