Responsibilities and Expectations
This position provides essential support to the organization through planning, coordinating and directing the daily operations of the Deposit Processing unit, facilitating organizational efficiency, as well as peer coaching and staff development
- Leadership Responsibilities and monitoring of daily tasks include:
- Proof work, cash letters and balancing including Mobile deposit
- Multiple account balancing, bank balancing, stop-payment verification
- Check Returns and Chargebacks
- Check Fraud processing
- Lockbox processing
- Management Behaviors
- Model exemplary customer service setting the standard for team,
- Expert knowledge of rules and regulations, apprise team of same changes
- Coach / train / mentor operations staff
- Expert knowledge of operations procedures, provide back-up when needed
- Assist the Deposit Processing Manager as requested
- Provide back-up to any position in Deposit Processing Team when needed
- Onboarding and training of new hires
- Manage multiple responsibilities with strict deadlines
- Seek out ways to streamline processes and remove obstacles or barriers to success
- Demonstrate the ability to influence and collaborate with others in order to achieve shared goals
- Prioritize and delegate tasks as needed and receive delegated tasks from team member
- Communicate concerns, solutions, praise and constructive thought processes with professionalism
- Maintain a positive attitude as an example of the culture within the team and throughout the organization
- Operational Compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of banking experience
- Effective communication skills
- Effective telephone skills and etiquette

- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Computer skills, especially the ability to work in Windows based systems

Physical Requirements
This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or reach with hands and arms. Requires the ability to carry, lift, move or push up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to talk and listen to others.

This position regularly works in an office setting. Most of the job duties require the employee to be working with computers and electronic media on a regular basis.
