Summary
The Commercial Loan Documentation Coordinator will act as the liaison between the loan assistants and the Loan Documentation team. Specifically, they will be responsible for doing the initial review of the documents, work through the checklist, and work with the Loan Assistants on any missing items. This position will report directly to the Loan Documentation Manager and will be considered a top tier position within Loan Documentation. A successful candidate in this role will have experience using Microsoft Office products, strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, the ability to communicate issues and solutions and work with individuals at all levels of the business, be a team player, and be proactive with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities And Expectations
Key Responsibilities
Loan Documentation Verification
- Initial review of documents submitted by the Loan Assistant
- Verify documents based on defined checklist
- Work with Loan Assistant to collect any missing documents
- Ability to provide high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors while meeting deadlines
- Work closely with Loan Officers and Loan Assistants along with the Loan Documentation Supervisor and Team Lead to ensure loan documents are prepared within the Equity Bank Service Level standards
- Process Unsecured, UCC, Vehicle, Possessory, Real Estate and Aircraft secured notes
- Ability to review for lien perfection on all collateral types
- Ability to process Loan Adverse Actions
- Ability to review Corporate Documentations
- Process SBA, Participated, Construction, and Letters of Credit secured notes
- Ability to review Attorney Prepared loan documentation and ensure that documents adhere to Equity Bank standards for processing with bank systems
- Ability to process loan subordinations, extensions and modifications
- Ability to track and monitor work through Smartsheet
- Ability to navigate Precision and Director for review of loan details and collateral
- Ability to assist with Lien Releases
- Ability to review team members loan documents to ensure loan document integrity, accuracy and meets the standards of the Loan Policy
Required Skills & Education
- 2 years of college preferred or equivalent experience
- 3 years loan documentation experience
- 1-2 years of financial services industry experience
- 1-2 years bank experience preferred
- Laser Pro or equivalent documentation software experience preferred
- MS Office experience required
- Excellent interpersonal and written skills
- Ability to work in a professional environment, yet still have fun
- Computer skills required, especially the ability to work in Windows based systems
