About the Role
Equiton is expanding into the U.S. market and is seeking a high-performing Senior, Investor Relations professional to support capital raising through a direct-to-consumer (DTC) investor platform.
This is a highly sales-focused, revenue-generating role centered on engaging directly with individual investors, converting inbound interest, and closing capital commitments into private real estate investment opportunities.
Reporting to the VP, Private Capital Markets, this role is ideal for a driven individual contributor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by building relationships, managing a strong pipeline, and consistently delivering results.
Key Responsibilities
Direct-to-Investor Sales
- Engage directly with prospective investors (primarily inbound and warm leads) to present investment opportunities and close capital commitments
- Clearly articulate fund strategy, returns, and risk profile in a way that resonates with individual investors
- Guide investors through the full lifecycle, from initial interest to onboarding and repeat investment
Pipeline & Conversion
- Own and actively manage a high-volume pipeline of investor leads
- Consistently follow up, nurture relationships, and drive conversion
- Track activity, conversion rates, and sales performance through CRM systems
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with investors to drive repeat investment and referrals
- Deliver a high-touch, responsive, and professional investor experience
Platform Contribution
- Provide feedback on sales processes, scripts, and investor engagement strategies
- Partner with Marketing to support lead conversion and campaign effectiveness
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the growth of the U.S. investor platform
What You Bring:
- 5–10 years of experience in direct-to-consumer sales, investment sales, or high-performance sales environments
- Proven ability to close, with a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience selling investment products, real estate, or alternative investments to individual investors is a strong asset
- Comfortable managing a high-velocity sales pipeline with disciplined follow-up
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex investment concepts
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a “roll up your sleeves” approach
- U.S. securities licensing (e.g., Series 7, 63, or 82) preferred or willingness to obtain
