We are looking for an experienced Principal / Sr. Principal DSP Engineer to lead DSP architecture, embedded implementation, optimization, and platform integration across multiple product platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead DSP architecture, implementation, integration, and performance optimization.
Develop production-quality DSP components using C/C .
Translate research algorithms into scalable, production-ready implementations.
Optimize DSP code for Tensilica HiFi, ARM Neon/Helium, RISC-V vector extensions, and x64 SIMD architectures.
Drive fixed-point and floating-point DSP implementation strategies.
Troubleshoot complex real-time processing, memory, numerical precision, and performance issues.
Lead hardware bring-up, lab debugging, profiling, and performance characterization.
Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
15–20 years of DSP and embedded software development experience
Expert-level C/C programming skills
Strong digital signal processing and real-time embedded systems expertise
Hands-on MATLAB/Simulink experience
Extensive fixed-point and floating-point DSP implementation experience
Experience taking algorithms from research to production
Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s/PhD preferred
Willingness to work onsite with engineering and hardware/lab teams
