Job Description:
· Electrical design engineer with 5-7 years of experience with off highway vehicle design.
· Creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on design specifications including 3D models of enclosure assemblies & installations, and harness and cable routes.
· Translating rough sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into accurate drawings including flattened production drawings with 2D to 3D association
· Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
· Working with operations to identify drawing issues and collaborating with design engineers to clarify design intent or resolve design issues.
· Modifying and revising drawings as necessary based on feedback and changes in design requirements.
· Must have knowledge of Solidworks and Autocad electrical tool knowledge
· Creating bills of materials (BOM) and other documentation required for manufacturing or construction.
· Collaboration with other engineering disciplines to confirm locations and create models for electrical fitment of brackets, tray, enclosures and other to install electrical systems in appropriate locations on equipment.
· Maintaining accurate records & documentation and organizing drawings in a systematic manner
· Good in communication
· Should work in collaboration with offshore team
