We are hiring an experienced Innovation Data & Reporting Analyst in our Innovation & Design Office (IDO). The mission of our IDO team is to accelerate the enterprise by transforming how we think, work, and lead. As a key contributor, you will deliver accurate, actionable insights that empower leaders to make data‑driven decisions and elevate organizational performance. In this role, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders to design data‑driven solutions that support learning, talent, innovation, and process improvement aligned with our New Ways of Working (NWOW).
What You’ll Be Doing
The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You’ll Bring
People Analytics and Reporting: Provide reliable data on organizational health and effectiveness measures, including but not limited to culture, retention, wellness, productivity, leadership, and talent.
Visualization and Reporting Tools: Develop and utilize reporting tools to visualize data in Power BI, Tableau, Excel or equivalent platforms, ensuring fluency in chart creation and communication of critical insights.
Organizational Health and Effectiveness: Conduct analysis and generate reports on organizational health, talent development, and overall effectiveness. Develop robust, data-driven metrics to evaluate success in talent development and enterprise initiatives.
Survey Administration: Administer strategic surveys in partnership with survey design teams and stakeholders, ensuring accurate setup, data integrity, verification, and smooth end-to-end execution.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex data concepts effectively to non-technical audiences at all levels through storytelling and easy to read reports.
Advisory Role: Offer insights and pushback when necessary, advising on strategic decisions with fact based statistical considerations contributing to organizational culture, psychology and behavior initiatives.
Partner with Data Engineering and Management teams: Establish a strong partnership with data stakeholders to effectively manage projects, address data requests, and explore enhancement opportunities. Ensure the maintenance of a robust and accurate data foundation to support analytics and reporting.
Natural Language Processor (NLP) and Gen AI Exploration: Explore and integrate NLP and Gen AI technologies to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
New Ways of Working (NWOW): Think, work and lead within our NWOW practices (Agile work management, Design Thinking problem solving, OKR goal setting, Adaptive Leadership, Process reengineering).

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required; advanced study or certification in data science, engineering, analytics, or related fields preferred.
- 3 years of experience in financial services and working with complex, data‑rich environments preferred.
- 2 years of experience in an NWOW‑type culture (Agile, Design Thinking, OKRs, Adaptive Leadership, process re‑engineering).
- Proven experience analyzing people, culture, performance, and financial data, and developing sophisticated data visualizations.
- Proficiency with analytical and visualization tools such as R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and employee experience platforms like Perceptyx.
- Strong strategic problem‑solving skills and the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to convey complex topics succinctly and present to senior leaders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
