Job Summary:
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for clients with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges. The BCBA will provide direct supervision to behavior technicians, ensure data collection is consistent and accurate, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on data. This position would involve 20 billable hours or less per week along with at least 1 clinical meeting per month.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Maintain a minimum of 10% supervision for all clients on case load or their recommended supervision amount.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify behavior causes.
- Complete initial/concurrent assessments
- Supervise and train behavior technicians on plan implementation and data collection.
- Analyze client data to track progress and adjust plans.
- Collaborate with families to provide updates and teach strategies.
- Provide feedback and support to behavior technicians.
- Adjust treatment plans based on data and client progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely client documentation.
- Stay current with ABA research and best practices.
- Participate in team meetings to ensure consistent care.
- Help assess client progress and staff performance.
- Consult with caregivers and schools on behavior strategies.
- Prepare and share progress reports with families and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards.
- Assist in developing safety plans for clients with severe behaviors.
- Attend/conduct team and supervisor meetings
- Submit all documentation in a timely manner
- Maintain BCBA, LBA, CPR/First aid certifications, and any other licensure, certification, or training required
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing ABA therapy or related services (preferred).
- Knowledge of functional behavior assessments, behavior intervention plans, and the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential
- Willingness to undergo background check
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation (car and driver's license) for client home visits
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
