What You Can Expect Working in the “Contracts Support” Position
The Contract Support position directs activities concerned with contract fulfillment requirements and notification of deliverables to necessary departments. This position is responsible for contract conversion and approval for invoicing, working with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and customer satisfaction. Driving efficiency and productivity by defining customer needs and coordinating daily activities with internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery and continued support throughout the project. The Contract Support position will interact with all departments throughout the organization, including but not limited to, Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, Sales, Service, and Transportation.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for work ticket creation and maintenance from PO acceptance through closing
- Requests amendments, or extensions of contracts
- Identifies and corrects contract deficiencies or inaccuracies
- Compiles data for invoice documentation and makes revision
- Reviews all correspondence concerning contracts to ensure overall compliance.
- Responsible for new customer setup
- Promote and hold others accountable for a safe working environment
- Observe safety and security procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 - 4 years of related work experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft office
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Inventory/order processing software such as SAGE
- Database/contact management software such as CRM
