Job Summary:
As a Medical Imaging Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving nationwide sales across a diverse range of medical imaging modalities, including but not limited to C-arms, ultrasound, CT, MRI, digital X-ray, and portable X-ray systems. This role requires a strong combination of technical imaging knowledge, consultative sales skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare decision-makers. The ideal candidate has experience in medical device or imaging sales and is comfortable selling multiple product lines into varied clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across multiple medical imaging product lines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, imaging centers, surgical centers, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
- Serve as a trusted consultant to customers by identifying clinical needs and recommending appropriate imaging solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and in-service training for clinical and administrative stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive products, regulatory considerations, and advancements in medical imaging technology.
- Collaborate with internal teams including customer service, operations, marketing, and product specialists to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Support the sales process from initial prospecting through closing, installation coordination, and post-sale follow-up.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote Equipped MD’s full imaging portfolio.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; clinical or technical background is a plus.
- 2 years of sales experience in medical devices, capital equipment, or healthcare technology.
- Working knowledge of medical imaging modalities such as C-arm, ultrasound, CT, MRI, digital X-ray, or portable X-ray systems.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows in radiology, surgery, and outpatient care settings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple product lines and sales cycles simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
