Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with pediatric experience to join our collaborative care team. This role focuses on providing comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients, with opportunities to support infusion services and specialized treatments.
Key Responsibilities (Advanced Training Available)
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric patients in both primary care and infusion settings
- Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications, vaccines, and IV therapies
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment, health management, and preventive care
- Perform nursing triage protocols, and ensuring timely communication with patients and families
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and patient advocacy
- Perform other RN duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Active RN license (state-specific)
- Pediatric nursing experience (primary care or inpatient hospital setting)
- Experience in IV insertion, venipuncture, injections, and pediatric first aid
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Multilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese preferred)
- Experience in pediatric oncology, infusion therapy, or critical care
