Heavy Equipment Shop/Field Mechanic Position Purpose
Both shop and field mechanic positions are available. These positions would require the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various issues with most common machines. Other required tasks include ordering parts, documenting work performed, effectively communicating with others, and properly maintaining company assets. Previous experience with Caterpillar equipment preferred.
Heavy Equipment Shop/Field Mechanic Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Five (5) years experience in related work
- Basic computer knowledge
- Furnish and maintain a set of hand tools
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- CDL A or B preferred
