Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various automotive equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on automotive lifts, tire machines, balancers, air and oil systems as well as various other forms of equipment vital to automotive shops.
- Execute lift inspections to ensure optimal shop safety.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools and other mechanical tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble many forms of equipment efficiently.
- Repair or replace parts as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records for each lift serviced, including parts used and repairs performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, various equipment, and other mechanical tools necessary for repairs.
- Familiarity with automotive equipment preferred but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge that supports efficient troubleshooting and repairs across various brands of equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
