Experienced CNC & Manual Machinists
Founded in 1972, Equipment & Supply. Inc. is an established and rapidly growing manufacturer of military and commercial aircraft ground support equipment. We currently have openings for experienced CNC and manual machinists. This is a direct hire, full-time position located in Monroe, North Carolina.
CNC machinists will be responsible for setting up and operating large and small vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers, boring mills, and bridge mills to make precision parts. The candidate must be able to work efficiently to produce high quality parts to meet customer requirements.
Manual machinists will be required to machine close tolerance parts and tools to support production in our modern, well equipped tool room.
Candidate must:
· Have a high school diploma or equivalent GED
· Pass background and drug screening
· Be able to machine quality, close tolerance parts on manual or CNC machinery
· Have the ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents
· Be knowledgeable with GD&T
· Have general computer skills
· Have a general understanding of G-code programming (CNC machinist)
· Be able to select and properly utilize cutting tools
· Be able to work on more than one project at a time
· Be self-motivated, dependable and conscientious
· Be willing to work overtime as needed
· Be able to work as a team member
