Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pipe Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing piping systems across various projects, ensuring all work meets strict safety standards and industry codes. Your expertise in welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be vital to delivering quality results efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using various techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and other methods suitable for different materials and project requirements.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems according to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to prepare materials for welding and installation.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds for quality assurance using calipers and visual testing methods; perform non-destructive testing if required.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to construction sites, including rigging procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with maintenance tasks on existing piping systems; troubleshoot issues related to leaks or system failures.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspection reports in compliance with company policies.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder in construction sites or manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and pipe threading techniques.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing installations, pipeline construction, and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with ASME codes & standards governing pipe fabrication and welding practices.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, calipers, rigging equipment, and tube bending machinery.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols including OSHA standards; ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if necessary.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities efficiently.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
