What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preventative Maintenance Technician position at Equipment Plus Total Facility Solutions?
Basic Qualifications Include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be EPA certified or able to obtain within 90 days
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Have reliable transportation
- Must be a team-player with the ability to take direction
- Knowledge of hand tools
- Maintaining tools & inventory
- Must be punctual
- Leadership qualities a plus
- mechanically inclined preferred
Responsibilities Include:
- Clean, calibrate and inspect HVAC, refrigeration and commercial kitchen equipment
- Document findings and service needs
- Update work orders utilizing smart phone application
- Responsible for operating and maintaining company vehicle
- Researching equipment while on site for proper testing
- Utilize hand tools, power tools and specialized test equipment
- Reading wire diagrams and manuals
- Maintaining communication with service department and customer
- Working without direct supervision at customers’ location
- Maintain tools and inventory
