Evening Attendant – Part-Time
Equinox Village, an independent-living retirement community located in Manchester Center VT, is seeking an Evening Attendant. Hours are 6 p.m. to midnight, 4 nights per week, which could include Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday or some combination of those evenings (working with your schedule). For the right candidate, this could lead to additional hours.
This position is overseen by our Facilities Director and is essential to providing residents with a safe and beautiful environment. Duties include, light housekeeping, being available for resident needs (non-medical) and interacting with residents and guests. Candidates should have a professional appearance and attitude. This is a great position for someone going to school as there is downtime during the shift.
Tasks
- Light housekeeping such as dusting, disinfecting, vacuuming and other cleaning in common spaces.
- Maintaining a secure environment throughout the hours of 6 p.m. - 12 a.m.
- Responding to concerns or requests for assistance made by residents. We are not a healthcare facility, so no medical knowledge or skills are required. This person would only be a conduit to getting help, if it were needed.
- Communicating with the Facilities Director if things come up during the shift.

- Must pass a background check.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to needs that arise during the evening.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
