What does the job involve?
This role supports the Marine, Logistics and Facilities team and involves working onshore and dockside contributing towards safe, efficient logistics and supply chain operations for an offshore wind farm. This role reports to the Marine Facilities & Logistics Leader.
What will my tasks be?
Within This Position, Your Key Tasks Will Be To
- Responsible for effective cost management associated with maintaining the facility and equipment
- Assist in developing facility operations and maintenance policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Direct performance of work assignments and review work to be conducted with contractor and verify work has been completed as directed
- Provide vendor escort to work area and oversee vendor while on premises
- Review maintenance management system to schedule preventive and on-demand work
- Routine follow-up of ISPS, facilities maintenance, stock management, port call support, customs clearing, import/export and other port roles
- Support logistical and transportation support for onshore and offshore maintenance tasks for all Assets.
- Contribute towards the day-to-day stock management of balance of plant parts
- Manage, monitor and maintain tooling requirements and inventories
- Manage, monitor and maintain spare parts and component inventories in the controlled database.
- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse related areas and activities
- Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from forklifts, trucks and cranes
- Responsible for goods receipt, despatch, management of dangerous goods and Waste Management

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a similar warehouse environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills; (SAP, MS Office applications).
- Work collaboratively with a wide variety of personnel within all levels of the industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and operate in a respectful manor with all people.
- Strong Initiative and motivation to learn new ways of working.
