Welder

Job Summary
The Welder is responsible for performing precision welding and assembly operations on small aerospace components using semi-automated equipment and specialized welding techniques. This role supports production by ensuring high-quality welds, maintaining tooling and equipment, and adhering to strict industry and regulatory standards. The position requires attention to detail, technical skill, and the ability to work with small, intricate parts in a controlled manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automated welding machines to perform production tasks
• Perform TIG and electron beam (EB) welding on small aerospace components
• Assemble, set up, and maintain tooling and fixtures used in welding processes
• Conduct leak testing operations to verify product integrity
• Operate heat treat and furnace brazing equipment as required
• Perform spot welding and additional fabrication tasks such as tinning and drilling housings
• Maintain accurate quality and production records
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of one year of machinist and/or welding experience required
• Experience with TIG welding; experience with EB welding preferred
• Ability to work with small, detailed components with high precision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to set up and maintain welding equipment and tooling
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Ability to qualify to AWS D17.1 welding standards
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must meet requirements for access to export-controlled information in compliance with applicable regulations
