- Number of Beds – 23 OR suites
- Number of Staff – Approx 100
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 4 team leaders, 1 board runner, 3 PCT, 20ish nurses, 22ish tecs
- Night Shift – 1 board runner, 2 teams (CTS and RN)
- Patient Ratios –
- Type of equipment – O-ARM, advanced microscopes
- EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Active experience with complicated and complex CVOR cases. Must include both first and second scrub roles.
- Candidates that have done bypass, ECMO
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Congenital CV experience
- Pediatric CV experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- CABG, Carotid Endarterectomy, Structural heart repair, Congenital defects (VSD, PFO)
Best personality Fit:
- Tough, strong willed, thick skin.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- CST – National certification
