Job Summary
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, inspection, and repair activities on military aircraft to support production schedules and ensure operational excellence. This role requires hands-on experience in flightline operations and the ability to work on advanced fighter aircraft platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, adaptability to shift assignments, and the ability to meet compliance and clearance requirements in a high-performance environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft systems and components.
- Conduct inspections and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Support flightline operations with hands-on maintenance activities.
- Work on fighter aircraft platforms, including system diagnostics and repairs.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and operational deadlines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Follow all safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure efficient workflow.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant avionics or aircraft maintenance experience.
- Candidates with 4 to 5 years of experience will be considered only if they have direct experience with fighter aircraft platforms (such as F-16, F-18, F-22, or F-35).
- Hands-on flightline experience required for aircraft mechanic roles.
- Ability to work first or second shift, with initial training conducted on first shift.
- Willingness to be assigned to shifts based on business needs and skill alignment.
- Active security clearance preferred; candidates must be eligible and willing to obtain required clearance if not currently active.
- Ability to pass background, drug, and medical screenings.
- Ability to work on-site and relocate if necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Work Experience
- 6 years of relevant experience preferred.
- 4 to 5 years of experience acceptable only with fighter aircraft platform specialization.
