Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Supervisor with an LMHC or LICSW certification for at least 3 years to join our private mental health practice. The ideal candidate will have exceptional clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for mentoring the next generation of mental health professionals. The successful candidate will be working from our Braintree office.
Responsibilities
As a clinical supervisor at EMH, you will:
- Supervise and Mentor Clinicians: Provide weekly individual and group supervision to clinicians. You’ll mentor them in a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages professional growth.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Conduct clinical quality assurance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure that staff meet all role expectations and requirements. You’ll also oversee the delivery of mental health services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and compliance.
- Manage Documentation: Review and sign off on staff progress notes, treatment plans, CANS, and terminations daily. Maintain EMH’s expectations and policies for productivity, quality, compliance, and timely submission of documentation. Submit accurate supervision notes/reports promptly.
- Performance Evaluations: Carry out performance evaluations with staff in accordance with EMH’s policies and procedures.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with the clinical and leadership team to develop and implement clinical/operational improvements. Act as a leader and agent in support of change.
- Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in mental health treatment and supervision. Attend external trainings necessary to support licensure.
- Client Services: Provide direct services to clients, supporting our outpatient center’s growth and new initiatives. Develop ongoing relationships with community partners.
- Company Representation: Act as an ambassador of the company by representing the company’s values, culture, and mission. Ensure clinicians are using best practices across the organization.
- Caseload Management: Carry a client caseload as required (10-15 clients)
Qualifications
- Must hold a current LMHC or LICSW certification in Massachusetts Must have 3 years experience post LMHC
- Experience in an outpatient clinical setting, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and exceptional clinical skills.
- CANS certification
- Experience working with children and adolescents preferred

- Regulatory Knowledge: Well versed in clinical documentation best practices, HIPAA and associated privacy and security regulations. Understands requirements of covered entities and consistently utilizes best practices for safeguarding client protected health information.
