Equifax is looking for a talented Data Steward to support our Commercial business.

What you’ll do
- Serve as the subject matter expert and data steward / execution analyst for identified commercial public record data assets, including development of metrics and reports for all levels of management.
- Execute proactive detection of data quality and data enhancement needs for data resources including the development and implementation of business rules/requirements with technology and other applicable organizational areas.
- Lead communications with internal and external partners regarding data issues, perform impact and risk assessments, and manage cross-functional teams in resolution or mitigation options.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, information management, statistics, operations research or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience with knowledge of data stewardship and/or within a data management environment and how they affect business decisions.
- Experience with data handling/quality tools, ETL tools, SQL, GCP/BQ, Python
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Expertise in Commercial Credit: Deep knowledge of commercial credit processes and data, allowing for immediate and valuable contributions to business credit products.
- Strong Autonomy: Independently learns and solves complex technical or business data issues with minimal supervision.
- Effective Collaboration: Proven success in partnering with Business Unit (BU) stakeholders to efficiently diagnose and resolve operational, system or data issues.
