As a Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to manipulate large data sets, integrate diverse data sources, data types and data structures into solutions under management guidance. You will build experience developing analytical approaches to meet business requirements, which involves translating requests into use cases, test cases, preparation of training data sets and iterative algorithm development. This role requires being in either our Alpharetta or Atlanta, Georgia office 3 days/week on Tues - Thurs. This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support. What you’ll do Utilize combined knowledge of data structures, analytics, algorithms/models, and strong computer science fundamentals to prepare datasets, conduct analytics, and develop deployable solutions with guidance from more senior resources Leverage knowledge of data structures and algorithms to analyze and prepare data for analysis, assembling data from standard and new data sources Able to analyze and prepare complex and new data sources and incorporate them into analytical solutions. Works on moderate complexity tasks in problems often within multiple business or analytical domains, collaborating with other teams to develop predictive models, risk assessments, fraud detection, recommendation engines, etc. Package, summarize and visualize analytical findings and results for management Support existing product set - QC efforts and reporting, ad-hoc analysis for clients and client legal/compliance What experience you need Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent. 2-5 years of analytical experience, including designing and developing predictive models. 2 years of experience with SQL and python or similar programming languages. Cloud certification highly desirable. Additional role-based certifications may be required, varying by region and business unit.
