What you’ll do
- Prepare data for analytical use by building data pipelines to gather data from multiple sources and systems.
- Integrate, consolidate, cleanse and structure data for use by our clients in our solutions.
- Create SQL and Python code that is optimized, efficient, repeatable and scalable
- Analyze, understand and prepare complex and new data sources and incorporate them into project design.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in GCP and related technologies, actively proposing and evaluating new solutions.
- Understand best practices for data management, maintenance, and reporting and use that knowledge to implement improvements in our solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards to visualize key financial and sales data for relevant stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Tableau dashboards by implementing appropriate data validation and quality checks
- Optimize dashboard performance for efficient data exploration and analysis.
- Provide training and support to our stakeholders on how to effectively utilize Tableau dashboards for their reporting and analytical needs
- Ability to advocate for the implementation of solutions and improved processes as well as share the qualitative and quantitative elements to drive value and share the “so what” out of the analysis being performed
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration for Tableau dashboards.
- Stay updated on the latest Tableau features and best practices to continuously improve dashboard capabilities.
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 0-1 years of experience working with Python
- 0-2 years of experience writing SQL queries
- At least 1 year of experience working on data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and statistical analysis and using popular frameworks such as PyTorch or scikit-learn
- 0-2 years of experience developing dashboards using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or Looker Studio.
- Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred
- Experience designing and developing big data processing solutions using Dataflow/Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow, and others
- Experience working on Machine learning projects
- Experience with Source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Github)
