We are seeking a full-time on-site Therapeutic Riding Instructor to join our team in Rogers, AR. The instructor will be responsible for planning and conducting therapeutic riding lessons, assessing and adapting lesson plans to suit individual needs, ensuring the safety and care of horses, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, collaborating with other staff and volunteers, and supporting the overall mission of Equestrian Bridges to promote healing and growth through equine-assisted experiences.
- Experience in Horse Care and general equestrian knowledge.
- Skills in Riding Instruction and Training individuals of diverse abilities with a focus on therapeutic riding.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to engage participants, families, and colleagues effectively.
- Proven commitment to safety, compassion, and understanding of diverse individual and family needs.
- PATH International Instructor Certification or equivalent (preferred).
- Hands-on experience in therapeutic riding or equine-assisted activities (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
