About the Role
This position focuses on legal practice, client relationships, and community connection.
You will work across our Cambridge, Cadiz, and Woodsfield offices, helping to:
- Serve clients with care and professionalism
- Build relationships within the community
- Grow your practice with the support of the firm
- Collaborate with a strong internal team

Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Advocacy
- Represent individuals, families, and businesses with care, clarity, and integrity
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress, expectations, and outcomes
- Provide practical, understandable legal guidance
Legal Practice
- Manage casework including drafting, research, negotiations, and court appearances
- Prepare pleadings, legal memoranda, and correspondence
- Maintain organized and compliant case files using firm systems (Clio, Box, etc.)
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of all legal matters
Relationship Building & Community Presence
- Build relationships within the local community through networking and involvement
- Connect with local businesses, organizations, and referral sources
- Contribute to the firm’s presence and reputation in Southeastern Ohio
Collaboration & Team Support
- Work closely with support staff and other attorneys across the firm
- Delegate appropriately and contribute to a positive team environment
- Participate in firm initiatives and growth efforts
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an attorney who is:

- A strong communicator who can educate and guide clients effectively
- Innovative and adaptable in delivering legal services
- Respectful and collaborative in working with others
- Motivated to build relationships and take ownership of their professional growth
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active Ohio Bar admission (required)
- 3–5 years of legal experience (general practice, transactional, or litigation)
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Interest in building a client base and community presence
- Experience with legal technology (Clio, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license (regional travel required)
Practice Area Experience Preferred:
- Real estate / property
- Estate planning / life planning
- Business formation and advising
- Civil litigation (a plus)
