What are the responsibilities and job description for the FT- 1:1 Direct Care worker position at Equal Opportunity Employer Work Skills Corporation?
This role is more than providing care; it’s about improving the quality of life for an individual. You'll play an important role in helping our clients maintain independence.
Shift Availability (Must be able to work all days):
- Monday 3p-9p
- Tuesday 3p-9p
- Thursday 3p-p
- Friday 9a-5p
- Rotating weekends 3pm-9pm
What You'll Do:
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one care tailored to the client's individual needs.
- Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home.
- Accompany the client into the community for appointments or outings as needed.
- Assist with household tasks by helping create a less stressful daily routine.
We're Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Dog- Friendly individual
- ***Reliable personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance***
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (reasonable accommodations available)
