Probate Litigation Paralegal

Equal Justice Law Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Probate Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team. We are looking for a professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing probate litigation cases from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage probate litigation cases from inception through trial and post-judgment proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law relevant to probate litigation.
- Prepare and organize documents for depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Manage client communications, including providing case updates and responding to inquiries.
- File pleadings through e-filing and serve opposing parties and counsel.
- Review and analyze financial records, reports, and other relevant case materials.
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth case progression.
- Monitor court deadlines and maintain an organized case management system.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of probate litigation experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of California probate law, including contested estates, guardianships, and conservatorships.
- Ability to analyze complex probate issues and develop strategic case plans.
- Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
- Familiarity with case management software and e-filing systems.

Salary: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 hours per week
