Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Memphis, TN preferred (remote considered) | Full-time
Equahire has partnered with a growth-focused, multi-location company to hire a Digital Marketing Manager.
This person will own paid search strategy and execution across multiple brands and markets—turning ad spend into qualified leads, opportunities, and revenue. If you’re comfortable living in the numbers and explaining what they mean to non-marketers, you’ll fit in well.
The Role
You’ll sit on an in-house digital team and be responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing PPC campaigns across platforms like Google and Bing. Your work will directly impact lead volume, cost per acquisition, and overall marketing efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute PPC strategy for assigned brands and territories
- Set up, manage, and optimize campaigns in Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Ads, and similar platforms
- Collaborate with internal marketing and business stakeholders to align campaigns with goals and budgets
- Continuously refine campaign structure, keyword strategy, targeting, and bidding to improve performance
- Integrate CRM and call/lead tracking data to better understand and optimize for true conversions
- Own weekly and monthly performance reporting, surfacing insights and clear next steps
- Present campaign results and recommendations in regular check-ins with stakeholders
- Monitor spend and results daily, adjusting bids and allocations to improve ROI and lead quality
- Perform keyword research and audience segmentation to uncover new opportunities
- Track KPIs, troubleshoot performance issues, and run tests to improve results over time
- Keep an eye on competitive activity and broader search trends
- Communicate timelines, priorities, and outcomes clearly with the broader team
What You Bring
- A data-driven mindset and comfort digging into performance metrics to find root causes
- Experience managing moderate to large PPC accounts (multi-brand or multi-location a plus)
- Strong practical knowledge of:
- Google Ads
- Bing/Microsoft Ads
- (Bonus) Other paid media channels and tools
- Ability to translate complex performance data into clear, simple explanations for non-marketers
- Strong ownership mentality, follow-through, and reliability
- Excellent time management and organization across multiple campaigns and stakeholders
- High attention to detail in ad copy, targeting, budgets, and reporting
- Google Ads / Bing certifications are a plus
- BS/BA degree preferred, but relevant hands-on experience is highly valued
Travel & Location
- Ability to travel up to ~30% for onsite meetings and team sessions
- Memphis, TN HQ is preferred
