Accounting Manager — Residential HVAC | Tulsa, OK (On-Site)
Join a growing residential HVAC company in Tulsa, and we're hiring an Accounting Manager to own the accounting function end to end.
This isn't a seat in a corporate finance department. You'll run the books, lead a small team, and sit close enough to the owner that your numbers actually change what the business does next. If you like clean processes, fast answers, and being the person leadership calls first, this is a good fit.
What You'll Own
- The full monthly, quarterly, and annual close
- A team of 2–3 (AP/AR, payroll)
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations
- General ledger accuracy and proper account classification
- Financial statements and supporting schedules for leadership
- P&L reporting — including flagging variances before they become surprises
- Job costing and departmental reporting across install, service, and maintenance
- Reconciliation between the field software and the GL
- Building better processes and internal controls as we scale
What You Bring
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervising others
- Strong command of GAAP, month-end close, and financial statement prep
- A hands-on approach — you're comfortable in AP/AR and payroll yourself, not just reviewing
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, with the judgment to work lean
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
- Sage Intacct experience strongly preferred
- ServiceTitan (or similar field service platform) experience is a big plus
- Home services, construction, or multi-location background is a plus — not required
