Position Summary:
The Contracts Advisor/Engineer supports the full lifecycle of project contracts—from bid stage through closeout. This role ensures commercial and legal terms are properly implemented, risks are managed, and compliance is maintained across all contracting activities. It requires a strong grasp of contract law, engineering workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and finalize contract documents, scopes, and commercial terms aligned with legal and client requirements.
- Support bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards, including the preparation of recommendation packages.
- Administer contracts by tracking deliverables, managing variations, handling non-conformance issues, and ensuring timely notifications.
- Provide guidance on contractual rights and obligations, escalating risks or potential claims when needed.
- Ensure all contracts comply with internal policies and client-specific protocols.
- Manage closeout procedures including final payments and documentation of lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, or Construction Management.
- 4–7 years’ experience in contract administration or contract engineering on capital projects.
- Knowledge of FIDIC, EPC, NEC, or similar standard contracts.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
- Experience working with engineering and construction teams.

Compensation: $175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
