Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Oklahoma City, OK, for a Certified Medication Aide. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient health, assisting with daily care tasks, and recording vital signs. The role also involves ensuring proper infection control measures are followed and effectively communicating with residents, families, and other healthcare staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with additional certification as a Certified Medication Aide
- Proficiency in medication administration and basic knowledge of medicine
- Skill in monitoring and recording vital signs and health conditions
- Understanding of infection control practices and procedures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with residents and their families
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare environment is a must
