POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the following:
- Leading projects and programs focused on the strategic growth of the company.
- Define project scope, coordinate across teams, and manage risk, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Scope Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define the project’s scope and objectives. Ensure intimate knowledge of the roles within the project team to facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams. Ensure alignment across departments, including engineering, production, and quality.
- Risk Management: Understand and apply the company’s risk management framework. Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Determine countermeasures for project issues as they arise.
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Utilize Gantt charts and project management tools (Microsoft Projects or similar) to plan, track, and report project progress. Develop detailed project timelines and ensure adherence to milestones.
- Budget Management: Create and maintain a detailed project budget. Hold the team accountable to budget constraints, track costs, revenue, contribution margin and implement controls to manage project expenses effectively.
- Estimating & Quoting: Support the Commercial team in the process of project planning and financial accuracy.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate both orally and in writing with internal teams and external customers.
- Decision Facilitation & Problem Solving: Actively facilitate decision-making processes within the team and across departments. Address challenges proactively and drive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Time Management & Prioritization: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines are met. Prioritize tasks effectively to balance competing project demands to address resource constraints.
- Systems Control & Documentation: Utilize Project Management tools in support of project execution

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, & CERTIFICATIONS,
EXPERIENCE:
- 4 years Medical Device Experience (Project Management, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing or commercial) or similar regulated industry.
- Engineering experience in research and development, design, process development, etc.
- Skilled in project management software (Microsoft Projects or equivalent).
- Experience presenting to the executive leadership team.
- Experience in the medical, aerospace, or semiconductor manufacturing industries.
- Proven business acumen; ability to think from an overall “best for the business” perspective.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
CERTIFICATIONS:
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
