The San Francisco, Los Angeles, OR Portland office of Epstein Becker & Green is seeking an attorney to work in its national management-side Employment, Labor & Workforce Management (ELWM) practice.
Candidates should have three to five years employment law experience, with knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws (e.g., wage and hour, trade secret law, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, PAGA and similar state laws).
The ideal candidate should have experience handling all aspects of litigation, such as: interviewing witnesses, responding to discovery, drafting motions and briefs, taking and defending depositions, and court appearances. Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent communication and writing skills. Admission to practice law in California is mandatory.
The expected salary range for this position is $220,000 - $260,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
