Principal Accountabilities
In addition to following Epson’s policies and procedures, responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, conveyor systems, carousels, and other machinery
- Maintain lighting, exterior grounds (including gates and lights), and electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical systems
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures or coordinate vendor repairs with the Facilities Supervisor
- Install new electrical wiring, equipment, and systems; troubleshoot and repair existing systems
- Perform interior painting and recommend requisitions for maintenance materials
- Inspect electrical, HVAC, plumbing, conveyor, and other essential equipment on a scheduled basis
- Troubleshoot and repair down equipment promptly
- Interface with vendors and supplier representatives as needed
- Identify and address safety hazards immediately
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and oversee capital and repair projects
- Follow safe work practices and policies, including driving rules and hazardous materials handling
- Operate various hand and power tools in compliance with safety procedures
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $25.00 and $30.00/hr. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
