Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively assess patient needs and deliver appropriate interventions.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical histories in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of all patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Assist in the assessment of patients' physical and emotional needs through observation and interaction.
- Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge to enhance patient care practices.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in patient care is preferred but not mandatory.
