Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Management System (WMS) Analyst with expertise in Softeon or Manhattan WMS platforms to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system configuration, process optimization, troubleshooting, and supporting warehouse operations by ensuring the smooth functionality of the WMS. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of warehouse processes, and experience in integrating WMS with other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Softeon or Manhattan WMS configurations and functionalities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, warehouse operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional system configurations.
- Perform WMS configuration, testing, and deployment to support operational enhancements.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with vendor support as needed.
- Create and maintain documentation including process flows, configuration settings, and user guides.
- Support end-user training and change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of system updates.
- Monitor WMS performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Assist with integration efforts between WMS and other enterprise applications (ERP, TMS, etc.).
- Provide on-call and after-hours support for critical business operations when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Softeon or Manhattan WMS (configuration, testing, and support).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, supply chain processes, and inventory management.
- Experience with WMS integration to ERP/TMS systems via APIs, EDI, or middleware.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in WMS implementation or upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of RF device configuration and label printing systems.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
