What You’ll Do

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with private sector clients—you’ll be a key player in our growth.
  • Expand existing client relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen our market presence.

Client & Operational Excellence

  • Serve as the trusted advisor for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability—no dropped balls.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower project teams to deliver outstanding results under pressure.

Financial & Team Leadership

  • Set and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to drive profitability and accountability in land development.
  • Collaborate with project managers to forecast staffing needs and allocate resources effectively.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions for clients.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (highly preferred).
  • 15 years of civil engineering experience, including 5 years in leadership (Director or similar).
  • Proven track record of winning work, retaining clients, meeting/exceeding revenue targets, and leading teams through complex projects.
  • Financial savvy. You know how to manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
  • A “figure it out” mindset. You’re resourceful, adaptable, and thrive in fast-moving environments.
  • Proven experience managing teams and mentoring staff
  • Exceptional communication skills. You build trust with clients, inspire teams, and drive results.

Compensation Base Salary Range: $165,175 - $200,250 per year. Bonus compensation ranges from 15%-25% of base salary. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity. This range may be adjusted in the future based on business needs.
