What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Technician position at Epropelled Inc?
Position Summary
This role is part of our core production team and is responsible for assembling and testing high-quality electro-mechanical components using semi-automated assembly lines. You’ll work closely with other departments including quality, stockroom, and engineering to ensure timely and accurate builds. There are opportunities for first shift (7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) and second shift (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.)
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components based on work instructions
- Operate tools and semi-automated equipment safely and effectively
- Perform basic quality checks and follow internal procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Accurately record work in the ERP system
Assist with material movement and process improvements
Qualifications
Tech 1 – Tech 2 (Entry to Lower Mid-Level):
- No prior experience required for Tech 1
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Tech 3 (Skilled Level):
- 1–2 years of electro-mechanical or manufacturing experience
- Comfortable working independently on complex assemblies
- Cross-trained in multiple production areas
- Familiarity with ERP systems, work instructions, and BOMs
- Able to train others and assist with troubleshooting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.50 per hour
