Internship Overview
As the Quality Lab Intern, you will be responsible for supporting key benchwork activities in a high throughput production-style laboratory. The Kalamazoo Site follows ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR 820, 210, & 211 regulations. The focus of this position is to learn and perform lab techniques including but not limited to titrations, UV/Vis, GC, pH, RI, specific gravity dilutions, and histochemistry.
Location: This is based out of our Kalamazoo, MI site.

Internship duration: January 26, 2026 – September 28, 2026 (34 weeks), up to 20 hours per week.

What You Will Be Doing
- As assigned, key responsibilities will include:
- Perform lab analysis under supervision as well as independently
- Analyze testing data
- Support Document Control system through proper documentation compliant with ISO 13485 and Epredia requirements
- Prepare standards
- Calibrate instrumentation
- Collaborate with staff to meet goals among shifting priorities
- Collaborate with staff to make permanent formulation changes to reduce or eliminate post batching adjustments to bulks.
- Degree seeking in a scientific discipline; Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or similar
- Proficient in MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Minimum of 1 year of college laboratory and data collection experience
