The Role
You will originate and close mineral and royalty acquisitions by directly contacting owners. This is a phone-intensive, relationship-driven position that combines landman skills with disciplined sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect daily through high-volume cold calling and targeted outreach
- Build and maintain an active pipeline in Salesforce
- Negotiate purchase terms and drive transactions from initial contact to closing
- Collaborate with title, curative, and legal teams to clear issues and fund deals quickly
- Consistently hit individual and team acquisition targets
What We Look For
- Proven self-starter who performs with minimal supervision
- Strong phone presence and comfort making 100 outbound calls per day
- Track record in sales or demonstrated hunger to succeed in a commission-driven role
- Ability to negotiate a wide range of deal sizes and structures
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Oil & gas experience is helpful but not required—attitude and work ethic are
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
