As a pharmacy delivery driver, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and the safe and timely delivery of medications, equipment and supplies to patients receiving pharmacy services in various health care settings, including but not limited to: hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, retirement communities, rehabilitation centers, patient homes, and other alternate site care settings as necessary.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining vehicles in proper working condition and repair, organizing and filing paperwork, equipment assembly, cleaning and maintenance, loading and unloading vehicles.
The remainder of your time will be spent in various duties within the pharmacy. Applicants must be a team player and open to doing whatever is needed for the pharmacy to succeed.
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm
Saturday 9am - 2pm
Shift start and end times vary due to the demand of deliveries. Occasionally the deliveries can extend beyond standard pharmacy hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 21 year of age (due to driving company owned vehicle)
- Must hold a valid WV driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
- Ability to sit, stand or be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift packages/containers up to 40 pounds
- Prior delivery driving experience preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts and additional hours as needed
SCHEDULE
- Full-time/Part Time (20-40 hours per week.)
- Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedule based on business needs.
